连南瑶族风情

亲爱的游客朋友，你们好！刚才大家听到的那段优美的旋律，就是在座一些来宾童年时就已熟悉的《瑶族舞曲》。现在大家已经来到了连南瑶山。大家往窗外看，进入瑶山后的风光是不是和山外的风光有很大的不同?
“瑶山好风光，山高水又长——”，连南是广东北端连接湖南，邻近广西的一个瑶族自治县。它地处南岭萌渚岭山脉南麓，与南岭山脉紧紧相连。连着湖南连着南岭又居南岭之南，所以这个地方就叫连南。
连南历史悠久，早在五六千年前的新石器时代，就有人在这里生息繁衍。由于地处三省交界的边远山区，远离世间繁华，历史上连南便被一些名人墨客称为“边城”。时至如今，连南仍以其古朴独特的民俗风情和绮丽多姿的瑶山风光闻名于海内外。
聚居在连南的少数民族主要有“排瑶”和“过山瑶”两种。排瑶占连南总人口近一半，“过山瑶”有四五千。“排瑶”先民在连南习惯聚族而居，依山建房、其房屋一排排相叠，形成的山寨被汉族称为“瑶排”，因而世代聚居这里的瑶民便被称为“排瑶”。而“过山瑶”的得名则因其先民的谋生方式与“排瑶”很不同。
同是刀耕火种，“排瑶”较稳定地经营开垦的土地，并长期赖以生存。而“过山瑶”则“食尽一山又一山”，这片山地贫脊了，收不够养家活口的粮食，便过另处山，新垦另一片山地耕种，自己的居所也随新耕的土地而迁。当然，“过山瑶”自解放后也早已定居建寨了。
连南的“排瑶”和“过山瑶”相互间还有许多不同的差异，如语言、服饰、婚俗等。“排瑶”的婚俗是女嫁男，而“过山瑶”的婚俗则是男“嫁”女。据史料考证，连南的“排瑶”和“过山瑶”的祖先都是从湖南和广西在各个朝代先后迁徙而来的。连南开始有瑶族定居至今，已有1300年的历史了。

朋友们，今天由我带领大家领略连南真正深厚纯朴的民俗风情。欣赏这里独特多彩的民间艺术；大家还会品尝到珍奇鲜美的山野风味，会在基本保持着原生状态的瑶山景物上日不暇接。百里瑶山上的林泉飞瀑，玉树奇峰，石桥古寨、鸟语花香以及不时从山林深处传来的美妙瑶歌、好客的瑶胞殷勤端上的米酒——会令置身其中的你心醉神迷、忘情物外，不知今日何日，此身何处!
连南美好的景观去处实在太多，不能一一详述，下来我会将我们今天要去的几个景点向各位重点介绍。
鹿鸣关：
人过鹿鸣关，关山似云闲；
烽烟当年事，夕阳照千山。
朋友们，来到连南，你不能不到鹿鸣关。
鹿鸣关是出游登临者的吉祥之地。
鹿鸣关是摄影发烧友的风水宝地。
鹿鸣关在西距县城三江镇三公里的梅花岭上。旧时梅花岭上有成群的梅花鹿在此生息繁衍，有时居然会闯入岭脚梅村的百姓家里。深秋时节，常有牡鹿在关上引颈长鸣，鹿鸣关因此得名。而“鹿鸣秋高”则是最亮丽的“连南八景”之一。
鹿鸣关是古战场。过去被官府称之为“边关”、“孤城”。这里曾经有过多少边关冷月、霜湿征衣的烽火岁月。关上如今早已只剩下碉楼战壕的残迹、但清代诗人虞昌龄的绝唱犹在风中：“百尺雄关踞上游，溶溶月色压碉楼。凉蟾普照边风静，鸣鹿无声夜景幽……”
鹿鸣关一关分两县。关东是连南，关西是连山。从关上往东看，县城三江镇一马平川，良田万顷，广厦千间。连山河、涡水河、沿陂河在关下交汇成三江河直通小北江再入珠江。因此三江河也是珠江河的源头之一。县城三江镇也因之得名。从关上西望，薄雾清霭中连山山连着山，千山万仞中一水在底。半山中仅一条路(323国道)自连南经鹿鸣关沿山蜿蜒伸向连山县腹地并接通广西。
鹿鸣关右倚峻岭，左临绝壁，居高临下，俯视山川。远近无路可通，来往仅可在此必经。绝对是“一夫当关，万夫莫开”之险隘。清朝连山县令李来章过鹿鸣关时也不禁惊呼：“石梯方仰面，岩窦仅通行”。鹿鸣关古代战事不断的故事就不多说了，就说解放前老百姓，单是从连南经鹿鸣关去连山县也是一条畏途。那时连南三江镇有很多靠“挑州担”谋生的“脚夫”，每天到连州出一担上百斤的盐或布匹之类经连南挑到连山。沿途许多艰辛不说，出门进门两头黑。在连山交了货，换得三几筒米(也就是三几斤)回家养家活口。就是这样，“挑州担”的人也是挑起担子提起心，因为连山县境都是崎险山路，途中“拱桥冲”一带还经常有强人出没，或冷不丁就抢了你的“州担”、“脚米”，剥了你的衣裳。弄不好还打你个半死，甚至让你失了踪丢了命。
如今，站就在鹿鸣关上，近观远眺，远近山川景物尽收眼底。我们庆幸祖国河山已经走进了新时代。你眼前的一切那么幽远清丽、大气磅礴！群山在你的脚下起伏如云，大地在你的眼底悠然似诗。有谁会说此时自己会心静如水不起波澜?谁又会说自己久在江湖小会陶醉?古诗咏鹿鸣关中的“荒鸡总断卢”、“霜花空锈旧矛头”的意境早成了过去，而“云村别开新画本”的理想成了现实。著名老作家陈残云也曾忍不住盛赞：“连南山水秀，瑶汉一家亲，共建文明县，春风度鹿关”!
万山朝王旅游驿站：
朋友们，我们现在离县城11公里，到了今天游览的另一个景点：万山朝王旅游驿站。
我们旁边的两个亭子叫“姐妹亭”。从“姐妹亭”上的天桥往对面俯览，“万山朝王”的壮丽奇观就展现在你的眼前。“万山朝王”是典型的喀斯特地貌。亿万年前，这一带由炽热的石灰岩溶岩在地底奔突翻滚，上升沉浮，便发育成如今奇特的地貌奇观。这是一幅实实在在的千山画卷，一个恢宏博大的自然画廊。今天你亲临其境，你会在神驰心动中情不自禁的想去触摸它们!万山之中，老君山，抱孙山、情侣山、望夫山、飞龙山……这里每一座山峰都有其美丽的传随和动人的故事。这里的风景守着这样一个永恒：每天日出日落，万山中万道霞光。一个赤橙黄绿青蓝紫的童话世界。雨后初晴。更是云蒸雾绕，彩虹如桥。此时你会怀疑自己是否进入了仙境，你唯一会做的就是“谋杀”自己带来的胶卷 还好，科技的发展，大家都用数码相机了。
千百座奇峰在一个立面林立、虽然它们形姿各异，神态不一，但您是否注意到：那座座山峰都是背北向南，一个个俯首称臣躬身朝拜。今天的王者是谁？今天的王者就是您!站在“姐妹亭”天桥上，您就像一位君临天下的至尊检阅满朝文武，你尽管拿出指点江山的王者威仪和风范!为了让您更好地找到至高无上的感觉，过一把当王的瘾，不妨向“姐妹亭”那些绣花的瑶家大嫂租一身农饰行头，经过她们的“包装”后，保证年长的男人像大王，女的像女王，帅小伙像王子，靓姑娘像公主!
三排瑶寨：
三排瑶寨，又称“万山山庄”。朋友们，万山丛中，别有洞天，颇具神秘色彩的“三排瑶寨”就在你们的面前。不知大家有没有注意到，首先映入你眼帘的是这副对联：“访瑶寨足下前程皆胜景，采风情山中旧韵应醉人”。对联概括了“万山山庄”和自然景观和谐合一，民俗风情和现代时尚雅俗共存的特点和内涵。
到这里，行曲释，幽处浓荫，听松涛阵阵，花香更有青鸟鸣；观民居，过酒坊，回廊深处，有小榭间间，殷勤邀客留。
这里是一个集中反映连南排瑶族源历史，文化艺术，生活习俗，服饰特色，歌舞娱乐，民居建筑等民俗风情的旅游区。在这里，您尽可以信步漫游。山庄空气的负离子很高，足够让你心旷神怡。您可以携手和你的情人面对大山许下山盟。可以信步进入瑶家传统酒坊，喝一杯散发着浓香的瑶家米酒。可以挑选你喜爱的瑶家手工艺晶，根艺古玩。可以观赏和参与丰富多彩的民间歌舞，体育娱乐活动。

板洞天湖：
各位朋友，刚才汽车在盘山公路上爬升辗转，扶摇直上， 一路攀高越险，直如登天，不用说，大家都知道这里为什么叫“天湖”了。
“天湖”的本名是连南板洞水库。这个水库是广东省内最高的人工水库，海拨850米以上。大家看：水库周围尽是原始森林或原始次生林。山上长年各种山花四时不断。更是春暖时节，山上连绵成片的杜鹃花开得满山火红一片。
这里的水全是山泉聚合，清澈透明，一掬入口，如饮甘露。夏日来到这里，你可以环湖飞舟，也可临渊垂钓。秋天你来到这里。远近四周满山红叶，金彩飞扬，大自然绚丽景色衬托着你金色的希望，装点着你灿烂的前程。冬天来这里，“天湖”又是另一番景象。这里是岭南北国，冬日里常常会一片冰天雪地，银装素裹。在这晶莹洁白的天地里，看着一碧万顷的湖水，看着如梦如幻的雪山，您会觉得自己来到了一个静穆安谧，一尘不染的纯净世界。无论是春天还是秋天，也无论是夏天还是冬天，来到这里，这里的空气都是透明的，都是水天一色，都是云在水里走，人在画中游。您在湖心小岛上小憩漫步，在尘世间的一切烦恼早已烟消云散，您的心境会变得超绝高远，清明宽广。您会想不管自己前身后有几多沧桑，活着总是那么美好！

朋友们，我们现在是在返回设在县城的“瑶族村宾馆”途中，准备参加宾馆内的今晚的重大旅游项目——“瑶族风情篝火晚会”。
跑了一天，各位都辛苦了。趁回程还有一些时间，我想借此向大家简要介绍一下连南瑶族最盛大的节庆活动，被国家和省旅游部门定为国际旅游热点项目，中外远近闻名的《盘王节·耍歌堂》活动。
聚居在连南的排瑶，崇拜传说中的“盘古王”，他们认为自己是“盘古王”的后代。相传，农历十月十六日是排瑶始祖盘古王婆的诞辰。于是定在这一天为“盘王节”。这天是连南排瑶最盛大的传统节日。盘王节前后数天，瑶家人为祭祀祖先，庆祝丰收，便要举行隆重、盛大的“耍歌堂”活动。
“耍歌堂”场面热烈火爆，通常寨子里的男女老幼几乎都“倾巢出动”参加了。“耍歌堂”是连南排瑶人民群众的艺术瑰宝。“耍歌堂’’演绎至今，实际上已是一种广场文艺。它的意义已远远超出了它自身的审美价值和思想内涵。因此，“耍歌堂”活动已成了海内外游客和艺术工作者的活动热点项目。各界慕名来观看“耍歌堂”的人数逐年增多。“耍歌堂”的演绎弘扬了中华民族的卓绝精神，他们祖祖辈辈艰苦奋斗，不畏邪恶，用自己的智慧和勤劳来创造自己美好的幸福生活。“耍歌堂”所表现的这种精神和个性、道德观念，便是它本身的艺术魅力和社会价值所在。因此，它能深深的吸引参观者并受到高度的赞赏。
“耍歌堂”中的“师爷舞”、“过州舞”、“长鼓舞”、“对歌”、“法真出山(追打黑面人)”等节日，都以其粗犷纯朴的声乐语言和形体语言表达了瑶族人民浓浓的生活情趣和深层意念。“盘王节。耍歌堂”节日期间，真是个名副其实的瑶族盛节!百里瑶山都欢腾起来。家家户户蒸米酒磨豆腐，寨子里还宰牛杀猪，天天大锅吃肉，称心随意地传递着盛满米酒酒碗和喷香可口口糯米糍粑。山寨里溢满了亲切欢笑，林间小溪都充满了快乐歌声。
作为游客，您尽可以接过“阿娌”(瑶家嫂子)、“莎腰妹”(瑶家少女)递给您的“粑乌”(一种用优质山糯米蒸熟后在石臼里捶打而成的糍粑)细细品尝，那味道真是韧香爽滑、甘甜清润，吃了还想吃，又不太好意思向人家要。
对了。这时你要注意：你千万不可过于“好酒贪杯”，否则，热情好客的瑶家人一碗又一碗的“水古铳”(一种口感极好度数不高的自蒸米酒)，会让您不知不觉地醉卧瑶山。总之，你只要走进“盘王节·耍歌堂”，那高台上神秘莫测的祭坛，那男女老幼五光十色无以伦比的盛装，那激越厚重的铜锣鼓角，那山鸣谷应的土炮轰鸣，那鼎沸壮旺的人气，立即就会被震慑、被感染、被迷醉，节目没演完，您的脚步是挪不开的。

Enthic Custom of Liannan Yao Nationality
Ladies and gentlemen! We now come to LiannanYao mountain. Look out of the window, you’ll find that the scenery in Yao mountain differ from outside.
Liannan, connecting with Hunan in the northern part of Guangdong, adjacent to Yao Autonomous County in Guangxi. It is located at Meng Zhu Ling in south part of Nanling Mountains, tightly connected with the Nanling mountains.
Liannan has a long history, there were people lived and multiplied here as early as five thousand or six thousand years ago in the Neolithic age. It is a mountainous area that the junction of three provinces and far away from the bustling, thus Liannan was called border town by famous poet in the history. Now, with its unique ancient folk customs and beautiful mountain scenery, Liannan is famous at home and abroad.
The minorities lived in Liannan mainly are Pai Yao and Guoshan Yao. Population of Pai Yao accounted for nearly half of thetotal population of Liannan while the population of Guoshan Yao took up 4-5thousand. Pai Yao ancestors in Liannan were accustomed to live together from generation to generation, which houses rows of stacked, forming the cottage bythe name of the Pai Yao. And the name of Guoshan Yao was given as the ways they made a living.
Pai Yao people operation of land reclamation for long-term survival. While Guoshan Yao lived a mountain through another mountain.
Pai Yao and Guoshan Yao pople lived in Liannan have many differences among each other, such as language, dress,customs etc.. Wedding custom of Pai Yao is women marrying men while Guoshan Yao is male marrying female. According to the research of historical data, the ancestors of Liannan Pai Yao and Guoshan Yao were migrated from Hunan andGuangxi in each dynasty. The history that Yao people settled so far in Liannan nearly with more than 1300 years.

Beautiful landscape in Liannan is really too much to introduce, but now I’ll give you a general introduction of the tourist attraction that we’re going to visit today.
Lu Ming Guan:
Lu Ming Guan is an propitious place for hiking, an treasure place for photography. Lu Ming Guan is 3 kilometers away from Meihua Hill in the west of Sanjiang town. The old Meihua hill has flocks of deer lived here and tweet in late autumn season, hence the name of Lu Ming Guan came into being. This is also the most beautiful sight of Liannan eight attractions.
Lu Ming Guan shut off two counties onits both sides, with Liannan on the south and Lianshan on the west. Have a look from eastwards, the boundless plain of Sanjiang town, Sanjiang river is one ofthe source of the Pearl River, thus the name of Sanjiang town came into being. Lianshan river, Woshui River and Yanbei river flow together into Sanjiang river through Beijiang river to the Pearl River.

Then, Liannan Sanjiang Town has a lot of porters who carried hundred pounds of salt or cloth every day from Liannan to Lianshan.
Now, you can have a panoramic view ofthe breathtaking scenery when standing on Lu Ming Guan. We are glad that therivers and mountains of the motherland has entered a new era.
Wan Shan Chao Wang Tourism Stage
Dear friends, we now come to another attraction, Wan Shan Chao Wang Tourism Stage.
There two pavilion named Sister Pavilionnext to us. Standing on the flyover and overlooking the opposite, the spectacular scenery of Wan Shan Chao Wang show in front ofyou. Wan Shan Chao Wang is a typical Karst landform. Prior to hundreds of millions of years, the strange landscapes of this area formed by the vigor ofthe limestone karst under the ground. This is a real picture of mountains, amagnificent natural broad gallery. Here every hill has its beautiful moving story. The scenery here guarding the sunrise and sunset every day, like a fairy tale world, make you as if entering paradise.
Standing on the bridge, you are just like a reigns supreme reviewing lower-ranking officials! Rent an ornament from Yao sister-in-law, aftertheir "packaging", it’s ensure to make the older man like King, woman like a queen, handsome guy like a prince and beautiful girl like a princess!
Sanpai Yao Village
Sanpai Yao Village, also known as Wanshan villa. The first thing you see is a pair of couplets, which embodied the characteristic and intension of the coexistence of folk customs and modern fashion.
Sanpai Yao Village is a vivacious scenic resort comprehensively reflecting the history, culture, customs, residential buildings, costumes and folk entertainments of the Yao ethnic minority. The abundant anion here is sure to make you feel fresh. You can walk into the Yao traditional distillery, drink a cup of wine exudes the aromatic flavor. You can choose tobuy some handcrafts and antique, or to enjoy and participate in a variety of recreational activities, such as folk song and dance, sports and so on.
If you are tired, you can choose to stay in the chic bamboo villa suite that is comfortable and clean, peaceful and warm.
Dear friends, now we arrive at theTianhu Lake.
Tianhu Lake whose real name is Liannan BanDong reservoir. This reservoir is the highest artificial reservoir in Guangdong Province, with 850 meters above sea level. The reservoir is surrounded by virgin forests or primeval forest.
When you are here in Summer, you can take a boat or fishing around the lake. In autumn, the beautiful scenery of nature create a golden painting. The winter here is an entirely different scene with apiece of glittering and translucent white snow. Watching the dreamlike snow mountains, you will feel as if enter into a tranquil, spotless and pure world. Wandering along the lake, all displeasure have now dissipated.
We now on the way to the Yao Village Hotel which is located at the county, and ready to participate the major tourism projects tonight, which is known as Yao Style Bonfire Party.
Now I would like to give you a brief introduction of biggest festivals in Liannan. Panwang Festival, which is designated as an international tourism hotspot project by the National and Provincial tourism department, and is known from home and abroad.
Living in Liannan Pai Yao, the legendary Pangu king, people lived in here think of themselves as descendants of Pangu King. According to legend, October 16th on the Chinese lunar Calendar is the birthday of Pangu Wang, thus this day named as Panwang Festival. This is the most grand traditional festival of Liannan Pai Yao. Before and after a few days of Panwang Festival, Yao's family held a grand event to offer sacrifices to ancestors to celebrate the harvest.
Panwang Festival is perhaps the biggest event for the Yao people. Yao people honor their ancestors. They give thanks tothem for hearing their wishes and making them come true. The folk master leads the ceremony. He will sing to the god called Panwang. The villagers will perform the long-drum dance. This calls for Panwang's protection. The entire village participates in this festival. Therefore, the Panwang Festival has becamea hot spot for tourists at home and abroad. The spirit and personality andmoral concept, which is the artistic charm and social value of its own. As aresult, it can attract visitors and be highly appreciated.
